Emma Mordue is a multi-instrumentalist based in Suffolk. Providing music and entertainment for a variety events, including weddings, festivals, schools workshops, gallery openings, parades and pageants. As happy strolling around like a medieval minstrel, or providing melodies from atop a gallery, her favourite thing to do is head up a parade, the wilder the better. Past parades have included flaming torches, horses, big black beastly dogs, 350 primary school children, and a recreation of the York Mystery Plays. Though not all at once! Open for bookings in Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire as well as the rest of the UK and beyond.

Nearing the end of the first week at @scaresvillehauntedvillage lots of happy faces arriving and terrified faces leaving 💙 just how we like it…… Really not long until @scaresville @scaresvillehauntedvillage and I’m sorting out the playlist. Any spooky favourites? It is currently 6 hours long but always room for more! I have had a great day today with this amazing team with @blackknighthistorical at @houghtonhallpark @heritageopendays are upon us! Some great images and video from last weekend at Ancient Oak Faye. Terry and I playing rauschpfeifen on a windy day! We had a great time and hope to be back next year. If you haven’t visited it before you should! It will be the first weekend in September 2026. Coming Up! We had lots of fun playing at the Ancient Oak Fayre today. Same again tomorrow, we will be playing several sets around the festival site during the day ending with a set at 4pm by the beer tent. Come and say hello! Join us as we empty the lehr. The lehr is an annealing kiln, as each vessel is made it is placed within the lehr, which has a fire under it keeping it about half the temperature of the furnace. This is so the glass can sit at that temperature to properly anneal, which strengthens the glass and helps prevent it breaking from the stress of prodding it into new shapes. Once we have finished blowing for the day we stop up the doors and let it cool over night. All roofed and set for a winter without us. A wonderful week glassblowing at @kentwellhall. The Tudor event carries on next week, with plenty to see and do.
